Fitbit Ionic announced

Fitbit finally announced their long awaited smartwatch: the Ionic.
It's square, and has a bit of a retro look.

The retro look might not appeal to everybody, but it has all the stuff you'd expect from a decent smartwatch. It has GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, and it's waterproof. The bands can be changed easily, and of course it connects to FitBit's fitness app.

Fitbit claims a battery life of 4 days, which, if true, would certainly be a big plus.

The Fitbit Ionic will be available next month, but is available for pre-order from Fitbit or Amazon at a price of $299 on the Fitbit website.
